History has shown that Republicans did far more good for blacks than recent Democrats have done damage to the black community. And Dems are all for abortion. He is saying that historically, he would not have been classified as a person because of his being of mixed race (or for that matter, black at all) so it doesn't make sense for him to do that. It implies that he, unlike many, has not learned from the past.

I hate Obama, but in all fairness, he never said an unborn child was or was not a life. He just said it was above his pay grade...basically he chickened out and said nothing. Santorum kind of made the issue weird and unconvincing. What he should have said was that the Constitution does view an unborn fetus as a life. If you kill a pregnant mother, you are charged for both deaths. A woman still has the right to choose before viability though. It's still alive, but abortion is still legal.

@Synapticsnap obviously, the only conclusion one can draw from that interview is that sanger is a racist eugenist who wants to kill off the black population. look, you don't have to be a eugenist to realize that some, not of any particular race, but some people are not fit to be parents. some people are better off wearing condoms.  that doesn't make you a eugenist to realize that. i know a lot of people in this world who do horrible job of raising their kids. does that make me a eugenist, too?
