Just saw this documentary, HM is a very kind and gracious woman, and the filmmaker has been very fair and sensitive when dealing with the subject matter. There were some moments which had me in tears, the human story triumphs over the royal glitz and the political aspect! a must see

These revolutionaries got less freedom by ousting the Shah who proposed rights for women and was a proponent of western freedom ideas. They deserved a dictator like khomeini. The Shah called those who opposed him terrorist....That is exactly what they were and are. The revolutionaries and spineless Jimmy Carter did a great job of ousting the Shah...You turned a nation that was a former ally into an enemy of the US. Stupid filmmaker, wake up and admit what you did was a mistake 30 years ago.

I just loved this documentary. I thought it was relatively even handed. I mean look at the stonings and executions in today's Iran and just imagine their interrogation methods. I am sure that what is happening in Iran today is no better than what happened during the Shah's regime. I think that Queen Farah is a true Queen in her actions and words. I live in the USA and no one here judges me according to my husband's actions. Long live Queen Farah. AND JANN rules as a modern documentarian!
