I think there'll always be 3 disinct and separate Weller fans - those who loved The Jam but didn't like TSC, then there were those who weren't big Jam fans but loved TSC, and then there are those who just dig all Weller's music, in all his ever-changing moods and grooves. I fall into that 3rd category - As a huge TSC fan, I love this. Reminds me of 'Can You Still Love Me,' and I loved that, too. So he's happy, not moody...so what? It's cool to be happy (again) sometimes. PW's fire is not out.

As a longtime Weller fan I must say I'm very disappointed in this latest attempt at whatever??? Weller himself once said that he couldn't write when he's happy.... He must be the happiest he's ever been cause this is just crap!!!!!!
Disappointingly mediocre. His fire has gone out again. That last album was almost as bad as 'Heliocentric'. I miss the man who used to set the house ablaze with 'Shadow of the Sun', 'Foot of the Mountain', '5th Season', etc. Take a few years out again, Paul. This is simply dull.

I'm a huge Weller fan apart from the late TSC stuff. This is exactly what it is. It was bloody awful then, and it is now. THIS IS JUST DROSS.........
