@ScarlettM457 t.A.T.u. used to sing over playback between 2000-2003 because they hadn't multi tracks and also because they had coreographies and it helped to coordinate vocals with songs, and they had open mic, but since 2005 they started to sing totally live and replaced playback for a live band
