wow. Pretty hard to remain zen as he did. That's insane to run something like that in a play boat.

lot to be said for bigger volume boats in big water, that was insane. best described as an survival run.

Never seen so much hate from paddlers.
I'm so stoked to see someone go through that, and take a beating, and stay in their boat. Call it stupid or crazy, but Paul knows how it feels to get out of your boat after that, and I don't imagine a much better feeling.
It's a great feeling to be out with a buddy and see them roll up no matter how or why they went over. Seeing Paul roll up all those times gives me the warm fuzzies.
Hard to feel more alive than when you're just trying to survive.
