@drlove1972 You make a good point and are absolutely correct. I wasn't even thinking of it that way. By the way, remember Jackie's rule when someone screws up : "ad lib in character." And of course, these poor actors were practically forbidden to rehearse because the Great One could read a script once, walk out on stage drunk and kill every time. His comedy was completely instinctive. That didn't mean the others could do that! And yet they still managed to work within this situation.

@louspintoo that's because it isn't meant to be consistent. Every episode of the honeymooners is basically a stand alone episode and is not necessarily canon with other eps.

Audrey Meadows was so famous among the cast & crew for rarely screwing up her own lines, as well as learning other's that they called her "The Rock".
Well, here she screws up and gets so lost, but then gets herself back on track. She was awesome.

I HATE the way Ralph always yelled @ Alice, always telling her what to do/giving orders!!!! He had NO right to treat her that way. But some episodes he was really sweet to her.

Boy, Ralph is SO focused on winning that tv set!! I just don't like it when he threatens to belt Alice, telling her to shut up!! I know, it's only tv, but still!!)

I don't know why Ralph is working so hard for a tv, anyway. Back then they only had like 4 channels. Even with the hundreds of channels we have now, there still isn't anything to watch on tv.
