ok soo cute blanket aside - im not sure about those knot things, their kinda weird looking and baby's tend to chew on things, and than choke on lil pieces of yarn

My son just liked to twirl them between his fingers. And babies do like to suck on things, but I haven't ever had a problem with him choking. You can finish it without yarn. It's just a personal preference.

I loved the fabric you used and the contrast in the yarn and the black and white fabric would be visually stimulating to a baby.

I make the tied fringe fleece blankets.

Instead of keeping the two pieces of fleece together with the yarn ties, I just use a 1/2" long bar tack in place of the yarn.

The fleece is thick enough that the tacks don't even show.
