OKAY CAN YOU SHOW VIDEO OR EXPLAIN HOW TO PIPE THE OVER FLOW BOX. I GOT A OVERFLOW BOX LIKE YOURS BUT AM TRYING TO USE 1" VIVYL TUBING I GOT TWO STRIPS IN THERE WITH 1" 1/$' TUBE CONNECTING THE TWO AND SILICONEED WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE

I used wet dry filters until I found moving bed filtration, also I gave my bio balls away after finding K1 filter media

@x4feetunderx you can but i suggest desgining a sw specific sump with a refugium and no bioballs. I will be making one for a 120g sw and will post a diy on youtube.

dont trust those plastic boxes double up they dont last for long. use the colored boxes. great use of stuff for a cheap system. very good ideas.

Yes some are not suitable but not all are so bad. Ive been using my clear box for 4 years now with no problems. Color doesnt really matter as some of the colored one are cheap as hell. Just make sure to get one that is nice and sturdy or just double up as stated.

Hi, How do u start the syphon. also do the U tube go to another box at the back of the tank or do they go straight to the sump?

The syphon is started by placing a small piece of airline into the large utube directly in the middle of it. Suck until it starts. And yes there is another box before it runs down into the sump. when you purchase your overflow box it will have all this and instructions of how to get it started.
