in a war you must be smart. especially when youre outgunned. sending the air force into battle would be a waste of ressources. the iraqi air force would have been desperately destroyed. instead the ressources have been used to prepare for assymetric warfare that haunts the americans untill now. the biggest disappointment were the terror acts against iraqi civilians (by whoever commited them) and the shia position after the war. except for some elements from alsadr they all were pro american.

allot of experts say if they put their airforce to use they couldve effectivley bombed the american supply lines and they wouldve been stranded in the desert

no way man.
first of all most planes of the iraqi air force were not able to take off because of years of embargo. even if they did it is very unlikely they would have surveived and established air supremacy against the strongest air force in the world. dont forget that arab traitor nations also helped the americans and shot some iraqis down in the gulf war.

really the air force wasnt able to change the outcome of the war but the shia traitors were if they joined the fight against the US.

thats if the american pilots were blind
