Over the years Smashmouth has covered some great songs by other bands, proving they have good taste in music. But as a band Smashmouth sucks really really bad.

The Smash Mouth version does not have the same jingle/jangle rhythm that the Let's version has, it's just a good pop song, you can't really make it into anything else.
