@auesr If you want challenges, learn Cantonese. I guarantee it is at least 10 times harder than mandarin. Mandarin has 4 tones, cantonese 9 tones. Mandarin is the same as it writes, cantonese not at all. Yet Cantonese has kept the most precious features of ancient Chinese that mandarin lost, such as some vocabularies and '平仄' for reading and writing a poem sounds good.

Oh good news for you, Korean grammar is uber hard if you're not japanese. The basics of their language is easy but as you get into more and more complicated stuff it's the same as any other language. Chinese just has a really frustrating system of writing because it's ancient.

Stop with this bullshit. There's no alphabet or letters in CHINESE!!! Stop misguiding people. Idiot!!! I hate foreigners, especially those who are smart alecks. The pinyin is NOT an alphabet per se!!! It's just a guide to pronunciation. Really smart of you. Still a dumb ass!!!

Ga 가. Na 나. Da 다. Ra 라. Ma 마. Ba 바. Sa 사. A 아. Ja 자. Cha 차. Ka 카. Ta 타. Pa 파. Ha 하. Korean actually has its character part as vowels, and consonants. I'm learning Korean right now and I think it's about 10 times easier than Mandarin.
