Waiting for one for me to pop, that is. In the meantime, I would really like to begin to spend more time lobbying the State of Kansas to decriminalize the planting, growing, and harvesting of feral hemp. I hope I live up to my cherry popping name before I become feral.

As for your comment, I'm still waiting for one. They say that one is born every day, but don't seem to be very common and I'm not getting any younger. I thought I'd practice by popping off on this comment section? That, and share my knowledge on intelligent building designs and materials.

Alright. Alright, already. I'll comment. Earthships are one of several different designs that are not only ecological in design, but can be made in a relatively inexpensive manner, utilizing many inexpensive and/or recyclable materials. They can be quite beautiful, as well. Monolythic concrete domes and geodesic domes made of hemp plywood would be another nice design. Hempcrete is another intelligent building material. I wonder if the entry could be constructed like a hymen?

NICE. I didn't know there was an Earthship there. :D I'm thinking of coming there in a few months. There's another earthship project in Karuna Farms in Kodaikannal run by Alex Leor that I was planning on checking out as well. Thanks to this posting I now know that there's also one in Sadhana.
Are you a long-term volunteer there?
-
Yes, this was built in Sadhana Forest, Auroville, Jan 2009, but of course it doesn't show the community at all. Check out some more specific links! It's remarkable.
