Please be aware of the amoeba in our lakes.

Naegleria Fowleri~ a freshwater amoeba that attacks the brain by entering through the nose when swimming. It causes a condition called Primary Amoebic Meningitis (PAM), which is over 95 % FATAL. This tribute is to raise awareness about PREVENTION of Naegleria Fowleri by avoiding warm freshwater over 80 degrees, and use of Nose Plugs or hold the nose if going under water in lakes, rivers, ponds or hot springs. Poorly chlorinated pools can also hold naegleria fowleri. Be safe while swimming!
