  • i don't care about the way i look anymore, i'm just deadly scared to go out!!. i wish i could go out :( i wasted 4 years for nothing, i should of been out having fun like the rest of the kids :(

  • for me it started when i was 15, i had a major weight-loss.

During grade 12 P.E. i was staring at myself in the window thinking how fat and deformed i was, i had a mental breakdown and ran to the bathroom and cried. my PE teacher found me 20mins later (we had along talk). further in the year i started becoming house bound (embarrassed to go out). 4years latter (i'm 21, male), i'm scared to go out, i avoid it. my parents do everything for me, if i have to go out i have a major panic attack.

  • i had a operation in 2008 and i suffer the same thing i can't go out im hosue bound im only 21 and i hate it i feel sick and get the shakes and my family don't understand they think i can just go out i can't i cry most of the time as i live with my boyfriend and its a good bit away from my family they think i can get the bus to visit them and i can't even go the shop :( its hurts because they think i dont love them and they just don't understand it.. thanks for sharing your story x

  • Hey, I remember posting on your video about a year ago. I've since completely removed Agoraphobia from my life. Looking back, it was pretty simple but painful.

I had one of the worst "exposure" therapies when I was sent abroad to study with no going back :D

Well fast-forwarding to present day, I now can't stand living in one place for longer than 1 month, always gotta move, think it's an addiction :D

Even started my own blog, trying to reach out to agoraphobics - former-agoraphobic.comlu.com

  • i hope you get better soon

from someone who understands what you are going through

    just try and stay poistive

  • Sorry to hear that, but you are young and pretty, and can overcome it with therapy. Author Clare Weekes has some good books about it.

  • i have the same problems councilor will help just find the route cause and let it out
