Not many fans have dedicated more of their free time listening to, absorbing, and dreaming about Eddie's playing over the last 25 years. I have ALWAYS been DIE HARD man, but even I am going... "Come on dude! You're a genius! Let it out! Show us something DIFFERENT! When I was 10 years old, it was Eddie's soloing that drew me in like everyone else, but now, as a 20 year guitar player myself, I fully appreciate and esteem his rhythm playing FAR more than his (now tired and trite) lead playing.

I see what your saying and aside from the fact others would complain if Eddie didn't play all his signature stuff , how many player do you know who keep pushing vai? An amazing player but not doing any thing significantly different .satch again no real different since surfing .paul Gilbert is one of the very few who is still innovative after 20 years of playing . But that guy sleeps with his guitar.

Dude go look up some videos of the other songs. He's kicking serious ass right now actually and he said they will be putting together some of the new stuff he's written after this tour and after Wolfgang graduates high school, so don't worry!
