Started listening to trance recently. Stoneface & Terminal are some of the best trance artists I've found so far. The only other trance artists i found are Tiesto who i already knew about, and Shogun

The thing about trance is that it's not like a guitar or other instrument where a person can play a scale of - perhaps beautiful - notes and sing along to create music. It's not an instrument. It is a direct projection of the artist's imagination into reality. That's what I love about this genre and it is the reason why it is such beautiful music - the artist controls every aspect and polishes everything down to exactly the way he likes it. That's the beauty of it. And I play the guitar.
