I think the best thing about Dr Paul is that he's not hypocritical. He says you should be free to make your own choices and applies that to EVERYTHING. Even if he may not personally agree with your choices he still defends your right to choose for yourself.

Actually, he does support people to choose those things for themselves. He's personally pro-life, but wants states to choose to do abortions or not. He's personally against drugs, but wants states to legalize drugs and regulate it themselves.

He does not defend gay marriage or the right to have an abortion. Those two things are pretty major.

His message makes so much sense and is so true that he has inspired me, a once hardened neo-conservative, to support something as "left" (I now realize that the whole left vs right game is a farce) as legalizing gay marriage (although I'm Canadian so its already legal here) because even though I may not agree with homosexuality, hes also made me realize that you either support freedom all the time or none of the time.

I just wish you guys could clone him and send him here to Canada!
