Come join Dave and learn some tips on creating an edible garden that will grow back every spring. This is an excellent way to grow your own food without needing to re-plant year after year. For more information visit, NewEnglandWild.org.
My perennial garden has strawberries, grape vines, garlic, horseradish, catnip, cherry trees, and a few others. The catnip shades the strawberries during the hot summer droughts.
Those look like good things to grow. What parts do you eat? What kind of recipes you these? When do you harvest? How much nutrition can they yield? Thanks for the post. I like the idea of perennials.

Wait, I'm confused. You're replacing squash with ginger, instead? If we're doing an edible garden, I think I'd rather eat squash. :P
