Train window view - Pendolino Bakerloo

The view from a southbound mainline train having just left Stonebridge Park station in north London looking west.

We see part of a Class 390 Virgin Pendolino train which had been involved in an accident here with a 'thunderbird' locomotive at one end, a northbound 1972 Mkll stock Bakerloo Line tube train (remember, underground and mainline trains share tracks here) and then a quick view inside the train being travelled on (either a class 313 or a class 508).

According to information on several yahoogroups 390006 and 390008 suffered a low speed collision as the former was leaving the Wheel Lathe at Wembley carriage sidings and the latter arriving empty stock on Sunday
evening 29th March 2009. 390006 has received damage that's been said will take "a matter of months" to repair. 390008 is said to require more minor repairs. The force of the impact was said to be such that the lead driving car on 008 ended up at a 45 degree angle. Although shaken neither driver was hurt. Neither train was carrying passengers at the time.

brilliant if it was partially derailed wouldnt it severely damage the rails as its being draged?

since first uplifting this video I've learnt more, and it seems that there was a two train collision here and that the train was not dragged here on skates.

eh? I am not sure what you meant - especially as Virgin was not operating trains in 1968.

This crash occured at low speed within the depot, and involved two trains which were not carrying passengers.
