@Dovash I bet they've seen to many films, where firefighters walk through flames and they wanted to try it. False heroisme can do that for ya.

Just a flashover, not a backdraft. backdrafts occur during a decay phase of fire where it is deprived of oxygen, when oxygen is reintroduced it would cause an explosion, which did not occur. flashover occurs around the growth period but before a fully developed fire, which is opposite from when a backdraft occurs. So why this video has the word backdraft in the title... i do not know

Oh what has the fire service become...way to many people hiding behind the culture of safety and forgetting what our job is. Were supposed to protect lives and property, not keep the home owner company while their house burns down...just saying

I dont understand why they were fooling around with everything(hose and such), and why they were still so close to the structure, and they shouldve been on a defensive mode, house was gone anyway they way it looked, unless you had possible entrapment but most likely the vic wouldve been deceased anyway

You have to wonder why they are doing interior on a house thats already done, there is 0% chance anyone is alive in that house, why risk firefighters on that house?
