This is kind of a different video. It was taken at Castle Tintagel in Mejiro , Tokyo. I had just finished a Sword and Buckler class, so I was sweaty and stinky, but I made a video anyway.
Castle Tintagel is a school of Western Martial Arts. Here is a quote form the website:
"We are the one and only medieval Western martial arts and cultural center in Tokyo.
Here you can learn anything from 15th century German longsword to Renaissance dancing.
Our martial arts include the Academy of Chivalry, where students learn to fit and maintain armor,
make practice weapons, and all the other skills you need to become a knight in this day and age.
Students of the Academy of Chivalry gain all the skills needed to become an armored fighter.
Our longsword and sword and buckler classes offer a chance to learn medieval fighting styles
without the need for armor. We also offer rapier classes, including stage rapier and Italian rapier."

and a video of some of the fighting...

Yes, they have a local SCA group here too. (and the Japan SCA friendly group Avalon)
This is also a school for Western Martial Arts....German Longsword styles from middle ages and a little bit later. Really interesting stuff. I know there is a good school up in Canada. I will do some searching and PM you.
