After various software and hardware delays, I managed to make this in about two hours with the help of some friends and another computer.

You may notice you can actually hear sound effects now, this is because I remembered that I could turn off the music in the game. I also tried to have the text last a big longer. Overall I hope most of the technical problems have been fixed, but for some reason I can't figure out, when I fly near the right of the screen the Arwing sounds get quiet. I guess there's something wrong with the stereo input on the capture card. I'll try mono sound next time.

Enjoy. Music credits are now in the video.

Edit: Those bombs that I say cannot be destroyed, can be taken out with a well placed charge shot. This is rather difficult to do though. You can also get some extra kills if you do a loop at the portion where you choose to go above or below the enemy carrier's fuselage. You'll remain further back and can hit both sides for a bit. A bomb right there helps as well.

  • How do you get your charge shots so fast?

  • @Bubblefig What do you mean?

Sometimes I fire charge shots by accident without really any charge-up time, so I'm not too certain myself.

  • When this game came out, I actually thought all those blocks looked like pretty well-rendered starships. Of course, this was *way* before when Homeworld came out.

  • @se7en00110111 Yeah that's probably why graphically Star Fox 64 aged pretty well, since all of the models are of space ships they don't need to be particularly complex.

And that reminds me, I have had Homeworld sitting on my desk for some time now and I keep forgetting to play it.

  • Where is the secret boss on cornaria?! Help!

  • Concordat, I enjoyed your amusing playthroughs of Star Fox 64/Lylat Wars very much, and I like it that you insert different (but equally appropiate) music in each stage, and give comical text-commentary along with it. Plus, you show to us in stages with different objectives what happens when you fail the supposed mission.

Too bad this didn't got that many views over the past 3 years, since it really deserves as such.

  • @Zeuts85 ...oh I get it now... wait what.

  • @Brettbowden26 After you save falco go under all the arches in the water and dont boost then follow falco

  • I don't know if anyone told you, but the Team heads for Aquas because they backed up the squadron (the Cornerian starships). If you don't get 100 points, then you "fail" to back up the squadron and must back up the Katina outpost, which if you DID get 100 kills gets backed up by the starships you just saved.

  • Get more than 100.

  • Oh how I still love this playthrough... <3

  • cocky little freaks!

  • @Cyberleader2002 I'm guessing the blue one was Ramba Ral in that case

  • o just a litile info at 3:55 the red suit moveing fast if a refens to Char From Mobile Suit Gundam who also polited a red suit that moved at 3 times the spead of the normil mobile suits

  • @Agent1W I actually thought more of the GMs.

There's a whole bunch of them, and they exist to be blown up.

  • @Agent1W Oh also, the last boss. Well, he does sound like he has an accent from that area.
