And this was on is first lp in the early '70's - I loved the song before anyone HAD saved my life that way, while I was still hoping...and I saw him live in Inverness last week, 40+ years on, and this song STILL brought the tears rolling down my cheeks...

Saw him tonight in Derry - cried my eyes out during this song. What's more embarrassing is that in the meet n greet afterwards I also cried my eyes out - a little overwhelmed to be meeting a hero. Had to rejoin the queue to get another picture taken that I wouldn't be too embarrassed to show to anyone!! Roll on National Concert Hall, Dublin tomorrow night - the last night of the current tour <3
