In the movie Splash the scientist on the tracks of the mermaid has one of those "what a day I am having" that some of us may have heard about.

The automotive industry is currently and for the past few years been having "one of those days" and global industry is not that far behind, in fact we would use the soundtrack Two Steps from Hell but that would be a dead giveaway.

On a specific note, for some media analysts, Ferrari's recent troubles with the Italia 458 have resulted in a sort of "fall from grace" in the eyes of some industry analysts. The editorial essay on Ferrari is also a comment on those detractors that cannot wait to see those with an almost perfect records of achievement have a flutter in their "energy shields" and "force fields".
