Produced in 1944, and originally released in September 1945. The opening sequence is virtually duplicated from "Bugs Bunny Gets the Boid", three years before. The closing gag is a reference to "Mr. Peavey's" {Forrest Lewis} catchphrase on radio's "THE GREAT GILDERSLEEVE" (apparently, Clampett's original "vegetable plate" gag [another topical reference, concerning meat shortages during World War II] wasn't funny enough to actually end the story).
