At Acts 16:16-18 Paul had to cast out a demon, most likely because it could not be said that the demons are the same source as Paul's teachings. Watcher beware!

@jrichard1977 That is your opinion and rather prejudice, Thought it is completely the opposite, there is no brain washing involved, and they have not corrupted bible translation, the NWT have been voted one of the best translations so I don't know what your talking about, I could say the same back to you. I wish you could open your eyes and see the truth.
Take care.

@WishfulThinkment I understand your frustrations, though. It seems like the JWs are so unwilling to look at the occultic history they have, dozens of failed prophecies, and invented and corrupt Bible translation. I wonder sometimes if they have literally been brainwashed and told they are not allowed to think for themselves. I wish they could just step outside of the organization and see clearly for a moment. I honestly think most wouldn't go back if they could see.

@WishfulThinkment Help me understand. This is not a silly debate. This is the Word of God we are talking about, and the bottom line is, it matters to you, and it matters to me. I haven't twisted anything in scripture with you, and if I have, kindly point that out because I don't want to do that with God's Holy Word. What I seek is the truth and nothing else. If God says I can study His Word and come to know Him personally, then that's what I want. No organization needed.

@jrichard1977 I could go on and on, but I can't be bothered, I'm sick of debating with trinitarians I can also show scripture after scripture to prove Jesus is most definitely not god, But you will just twist them like most or put a blind eye to the evidence, So I'm done.
take care.

@WishfulThinkment Because of the overwhelming evidence of scripture, I can not buy into the idea that Jesus was created. The very next verse, verse 16, says that all things were created by Jesus, created through Him and for Him. So, you want me to believe that God created His Son, Jesus, and then this created being created everything else? Gen. 1:1 says God created the heavens and the earth for His glory, but here it says Jesus created it all for himself. Jesus is God.

@WishfulThinkment There was a greek word used during the time that Paul wrote this which meant first created (proto ktizo). Rather than use this, he chose to use (proto tikto) first born. It is true that first born can be used as chronological order in a family. But, it is also used as a title of preeminence. Jeremiah 31:9 says …for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is My firstborn. Ephraim was not the firstborn of any family yet he is called the firstborn.

@jrichard1977 Of course you wouldn't take that literally only a fool would, But when it comes to these type of verses you can take them literally, there is no other way too take it, When it says "the first born of all creation" It's literal, for it too mean anything else would be very silly and like I said awkward. For Jesus or god to say he was the first born over all creation is very very confusing and silly. But for it to mean he is the first born of all creation makes a lot more sense.

Then go to Psalms 102:25-27 and ask yourself who it is referring to.

@ctsfinestjon Are you the same person as your father? Of course not. Neither is Jesus the same person as his Father, Jehovah. That's your answer?

@ewatchmandotcom When did trinitarianism ever teach that Jesus was "the same person as the father"? Your ASSUMPTION of unitarianism is what causes you to make such statements. Jesus is God but He is not God the Father You just misrepresented the christian position. The trinity teaches that that the 3 DISTINCT persons are the one true and eternal God.

@October31st1517 Trinitarians play a con man shell game. 'Jesus is god. God is Jesus. Father and Son are the same. When did we ever say Jesus and God were the same?' ......You are a huckster dude. Go peddle that manure somewhere else.
