Reuploaded.

Another of my old videos, recently inspired to be reuploaded by the Nonfiction book by Alison Weir, The Lady in the Tower. Check it out for a great argument about Henry and Anne being the victims of court factions led by Cromwell and the Seymours to destroy her influence over him, as well as other very interesting information about the last days of Queen Anne.

Anne Boleyn portrayed by:

Genevieve Bujold ( Anne of The Thousand Days )

Julia Marsen ( David Starkey's Documentary, The Six Wives of Henry VIII )

Natalie Dormer ( The Tudors )

Natalie Portman ( The Other Boleyn Girl )

  • @xHistoryGirl23x Thank you!

  • What is the music played in this video? Its perfect.

  • @xHistoryGirl23x

what is the name of the book please?

  • @3ffi3m3123

    trolls man. Trolls.

  • @roxylulu1 I can see where you're coming from, but when reading The Other Boleyn Girl I tried to remember that the entire novel was told from Mary's point of view, and therefore - what with sibling rivalry and other things of the sort - she was probably going to bash on her sister quite a bit; maybe over dramatize things. I personally love Philippa Gregory as an author, and though Anne might have been "demonized" in the novel, I loved the book. Hated the movie, though.

  • @roxylulu1 Yeah I did enjoy the novel itself, it is very good historical fiction and based on the most negative rumors about Anne, but the film itself was so hurried, choppy, and nobody in the film is likeable. The only one I liked was Elizabeth Boleyn and she hardly came out.

  • @xHistoryGirl23x omg same i absolutly hate the boleyn girl, phiillipa gregory portrayed anne as a nasty, abitious bitch. but i think if the script was written properly, natalie portman would of made a good anne.
