very tastefully done. One of my favorite John Prine songs. Like your tuning. Your playing in E, is that rihgt? sounds like the Bonnie Riatt version. I play it in G, but I am inspired to go your way! Now if I could just sing in key................

thanks alot! it's actually drop d tuning. DADGBE, in other words, just turn your low E to a D. i tried to cover the bonnie raitte version.

Thanks very much Judo. The meat of this piece is very easy to play. It's in drop D tuning which means you tune the low E string down to a D. play a D chord hitting all 6 strings and you will hear whether you've got it right. after that, it's D and then G with both 1st and 2nd strings fretted at the third fret. play the D followed by this G and it will sound just like it does on the vid. again, thanks for listening and good luck on your music. john
