I seem to be in a folkie mode right now, so here is another original that is in the tradition of the Carter Family, or at least I hear it that way. The instrument you see in the video is called a "strumstick". The frets are arranged for diatonic scale (just like a dulcimer) and is fun to play.

More of my original songs can be found in this playlist: http://www.youtube.com/user/rhopen#grid/user/5FAFE92B39620456

Instruments used for this song:
Strumstick
Concertina
Percussion (cymbal and brushes on a tamborine)
Lap Harp (a toy)

Lets Set Sail (Its Time to Go)
Ronald Haselden
August 2009

Lets set sail
Its time to go
To a place that our
hearts already know
Why should it be
That we should wait?
Lets set sail

Lets set sail
From the Devils shore
Far away
And forevermore
We will be strong
We will be brave
Lets set sail

Lets set sail
Well leave today
And well find
Kindred spirits on the way
We will forsake
The howling dogs
Lets set sail

Lets set sail
Its time to go
To a place that our
hearts already know
Why should we wait?
That we should wait?
Lets set sail
