  • Lol @chery869

  • I almost went to UF PA school, was accepted for class of 2010 but decided to go to Duke PA Program instead. Becoming a PA was SUCH a wonderful move, and going to a great school can open many doors for your future.

  • 4:00 You had me @ free food…

    Where do I sign up?

  • @lespaulmasta42 I've been accepted to a great school and my Bachelor degree was an art major, graduating in 1992. I'm an older student with a varied employment history that includes 5 years as an urgent care MA. I'm currently finishing the last few science pre-reqs that I needed to apply. So yes, a psych major can certainly get in! In fact, at my school, we will specifically be doing a psych rotation as one of the many rotations we will see. Good luck and be yourself!!

  • Nice vid! This brings back old memories of my PA school days. Now I am focused on helping others get in PA school. I offer FREE video training at my site. If you want to get into PA school, check out my channel now.

  • thank you for posting this video! I have a question if you dont mind asking although I know you are busy, but did u have to go to 4 years of undergrad before going to PA school? and if so what did you major in? good luck with everything!

  • @lespaulmasta42 i know you asked dtotherok but as a PA student myself i can say that undergrad major really doesnt matter. my current class has bio, chem, psych, english and even economics majors.what they look for is someone who is well rounded able to priortize and actually able to handle these core medical classes. GPAs req depends on the school and sometimes the individual student...but I would have to say to be serious candidate you need at least a 3.5 overall and 3.3 science

  • @saitohxD get the "getting into the physician assistant school of your choice book" study those interview questions...but the number one thing is to be yourself, relaxed poised, honest and dont forget professional. that totally helped me last yr. im now in my 1st yr of pa school

  • Thanks for posting your experiences. Thinking of Nurse Practitioner, havent decided on specialty.

  • Thanks for doing these videos. I sent my apps out through CASPA and waiting for callbacks. Any helpful tips during the interviews? thanks
