Europe's driest country, Spain, is getting drier. Parts that were green only ten years ago have lost their colour. They can't support the animal life they once did. Emergency investment from the government into renewable energy sources just got a 100 million euro top-up. Spain is about to take its turn as European Union presidency (under the system which is on the way out) and plans to make climate change a priority. At local level, Barcelona has become a European pioneer in the field. Distributed by Tubemogul.
we can go on with this forever..
were just going to have to agree to disagree.
Thanks for the comment

and again you don't state where you get your stats.
Also there has been an in crease is solar activity as well. I guess that doesn't account for anything in your logic.

Umm, 420K years ago encompasses 320K years ago. At the start of the Industrial Revolution the CO2 concentration was 280ppm. It's now at least 387ppm.
Who doesn't expect to see CO2 rise farther and faster? Did China suddenly stop building a coal fired plant every week?

Whats my point?? do you not read?
You said that CO2 is now the highest its been in 420K years at 300ppm,and I showed you that the CDIACt shows the levels of 300ppm was that high 323K years ago. You are incorrect. I also show where I get my data from.
You also said EVERYONE predicts ever faster changes. That is also not true. Who is EVERYONE.

What's your point? What has triggered the alarm among scientists is the rate at which anthropogenic activity has changed the atmosphere. What alarms them more is where it is going. Everyone predicts ever faster changes.
It's simple math, compound growth rates and well understood physics.

According to the CDIAC..the past 420 kyr. Pre-industrial Holocene levels (~280 ppmv) are found during all interglacials, with the highest values (~300 ppmv) found approximately 323 kyr BP.
so your 300ppm value was found 323,000 ago. I dont think there were any man made industry at that time. Definitely a lot less people.

Incorrect! The rise of CO2 by 38% in 150 years is not natural. There are other, even more powerful GHGs being produced by man.
CO2 hasn't been at this level for, according to some scientists, 20 million years. The Vostok ice core records the highest level in past 420K years as 300ppm
The sun, it has been at a steady ouput for over 30 years. There are ways to block the sun. The cheapest is to inject sulfate particles into the stratosphere. It's being studied in case it's needed. Seriously!
TRUMPHENT 2 years ago
are they going to turn the intensity of the SUN down as well?
cleaner fuels are all good but wake-up, climate change is a natural prosess.

Spain needs and must have a National Water Grid. This is Urgent.
