@alizehasher There was very little plumage on most drakes - and we only pull the trigger when we're 100% sure they're drakes. Dead hens don't lay eggs.

@enriquevernet I think I got my 5 birds in 6 shots...I'll try harder next time. ;-)

Nice shooting!

Why the world would you only shoot one duck out of each flock.

What's the music at the start? cool video !

good to see there are some "sporting" americans! Most of the videos on here are full of cowboys firing off 12 shots at a time trying to murder everything! Your welcome to shoot in england with me anytime! :)

@NodakOutdoors got four last weekend, here in nd i thought it was a total of six, with a break down of how many different kinds of ducks you can have.
Nice hunt, do you guys get more ducks there than just mallards? I'm from CA. our limit is 7 total for ducks. The area I shoot gets lots of green wing, wigeon, pintails and wood duck. Geese is 8 limit no more than 4 specklebelly.

@4foodihunt We get mostly mallards and pintails. When we're in the water we do occasionally get other species, but we mostly aim for the big 2.

to have that many ducks working, coming up to shoot one time and kill one bird is such a waste.

@cropperboy Not when you know you're gonna have plenty of flocks to get your birds

@NodakOutdoors shooting one duck out of a big flock just educates birds and makes it harder for the states to the south of you... thats why the easiest duck hunting is up north. we in ms and arkansas reallllly have to work for our ducks

@jumpthenoob We take our time and pick out drakes which isn't easy to do with very little plumage. That's just the way we hunt, to each their own.
