This design is very close to the one at http://woodgears.ca/box_joint/jig.html and works just the same on the router table as it would if I had a table saw. There is a little play in the carriage movement so I need to be consistent in approach direction. Also, the router introduces some sideways force so I have to clamp tight and against the carriage side. "This jig makes delicious box joints." says Clementine.

  • Can I borrow your dog please? He would make some nice hound-stooth joints to end join some scrap! :)
