Left 4 Dead Split Screen Tutorial

This shows how to activate split screen on the PC version of Left 4 Dead.

to get the controller to be player 2 you have to unplug it and plug it in during the loading screen for the level

@ManyFaces1999 I have the same problem too, I think that if you make the KB+mouse controll player 2, the joystick would work for player 1 and there will be no problem, but I dont know how, ive been asking through forums and youtube videos but no answer, if you find a solution please send me a message...

BTW... I Got A Problem......... WHen I Start the game i type in ss_connect then the player joins the team automatically and When The Game Loads.... i unplug it and wait for 2 seconds and when the game starts..... Player 2 cant move! Instead... it controlls player 1! please help anybody! :)

why the fuckin dont work with me everytime i perfectly run the instructions but never working my splitscreen i cant control splitscreen 2 the keyboard is ever in the splitscreen 1 and controller too

hi to everyone. I've got a problem. Me and my friend wanna play L4D at the same computer, by splitting screen. We've 1 normal keyboard and normal joystick(Kontorland), not 360 controller. We tried so many variation but it doesn't work. I mean, it works but the joystick and keyboard control the same player, 1st player. And we have never activated the 2nd player. Does anyone has an idea? Thank you

LoL, just another noob question: can player 1 play with mouse/keyboard and the other with the controller?

I can use my ps3 controller with gta sa and gta vc etc, as a regular game controller (it also shows up on Windows etc), and can that controller be used as a controller for l4d?

I know it says 360 controller, but the ps3 controller isn't much different but the stick layout and the internal hardware + sixaxis.
