Why I'm Prolife (Spoken Word)

I wrote this poem because a lot of people seem to think life does not begin at conception. I have a few friends who have had abortions and they have always told me they still feel bad for making that choice. So here is my plea to you, to not make the choice and to stand up for life. In spoken word and story format.

Why rap - and you sound like an African-American. Is your point meant for African-Americans?

If God ISN’T real, then a woman’s body is NOT something that they borrow.

Most women who have abortions are NOT AT ALL sorry about it.

My point: You are a guy, am I correct? That means you may CAUSE that dilemma for a woman, but you would never have to CARRY the dilemma that you, yourself may cause one day. Isn't that my last statement accurate?

@SanctitysFlameMusic False. You are basically implying that women who get raped are 'asking for it'. One of my TAs talked about this in lecture today and told us that she was sexually assaulted when she was taking a nap, in the afternoon, in her apartment and was wearing business attire. She did not put herself in a bad situation, and still a bad thing happened. It's ironic that your reply is to "YOURANASSHOLE36" because you my friend, are an asshole and your ignorance astounds me.

@YOURANASSHOLE36 Dude, there's this great thing called adoption. If a rape victim doesn't want the baby or is too young to care for a child. They can carry the baby to term and give them to a couple that does want them. Also, when do women get raped? When they put themselves in a bad situation. There are precautions ANY woman can take in ANY situation to protect themselves from that.
