Part of the National Theatre of Scotland's Five Minute Theatre 21st-22nd June, 2011.

The re-telling of the story of the 1918 Portskerra fishing disaster in an intimately dramatic way and in a location that draws the mind to understand our connection with the past and to human vulnerability to natural forces. All the village boats went out on a beautiful summers day, the weather turned and the village went to the headland to see the boats come in to this rock harbour- some came back, some boats washed up broken on the beach, some men were thought lost but came in further down the coast and walked back up over the hill, but seven men from this tiny clearance village died that day.

Directed by Alex Patience
