Katelyn "Katie" Olivia Connor was born December 27, 2005 to William & Christa Connor. She was her daddy's turkey, her momma's cuddle-bug, and to her sister, Laura Beth, she was everything. Katie died on Thursday, August 5, 2010 after a lengthy battle with Neuroblastoma (cancer). She was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her brilliant blue eyes, dazzling smile, and contagious laughter could light up any room. Katie loved going to daycare at Grannie & Pawpaw's to play with her two best friends, Kate Hagaman & Zoey Blakely. She loved to dance and loved to learn. She amazed everyone with her vast vocabulary. Most of all, she loved attending Sunday School at Harmony Baptist Church in Normangee where she learned more about Jesus. Even at her young age, Katie believed in Jesus and knew that He loved her and saved her from her sins. She will be dearly missed but her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now free of pain, sickness, and sadness.

I have followed Katie's blog for nearly a year,at the time she died I was in England and had no idea...I was eyond heartbroken to hear the news :(

One day when Katie & her mommy were talking about Heaven Katie got angry and said "You'll forget me.".Katie's mommy let her know that was not true

Katie we will never ever forget you!!

Neuroblastoma often begins in the nerve tissue of the adrenal glands. The adrenal glands produce important hormones that help control heart rate, blood pressure, blood sugar, and the way the body reacts to stress.

Neuroblastoma most often begins during early childhood. By the time neuroblastoma is diagnosed, the cancer has usually spread, most often to the bones, bone marrow, liver, and skin.

The song Jesus Loves Me at the end is from a clip of Katie singing

  • oh my word; this made me actually cryy

and i havent cried over a video, in a LONG time.

like look4maddy said - THIS STOLE MY HEART!

i have been waiting, and waiting, for a video,

like this one, to come along, and bring a whole new meaning

    to the entire point of making videos;

this is soo precious, and the song is more then perfect.

i cant fault anything with this - its magical!

she is so beautiful; prettiest angel in Heaven x3

  • @XoXOct4Lyf3XoX

Thank you so much..you have no idea how much that means to me,i really appreciate it

  • This kind of videos are the type of beutiful tributes that I adore but still - make my whole body freeze and just die of fear for what might come tommorow. With so many kids fighting and loosing the battle against Neuroblastoma, I feel so empty and hopeless but I will keep my head held high for our prescious Doodle bug!

    amazingly done, anna.

    Dance In Heavenly peace, katie.

  • Wow, this is soo touching. She has such a pretty face.

Nobody deserves cancer, especially an innocent child, it's more than cruel and unfair, she was scared her mommy would forget her :( it's so sad.

Dance with the angels, Katelyn <3

  • @Bellarose1994 me too, anastacia. of course.

but this is neuroblastoma. and Kayleigh, I don't know if people have realized how much she means to me, she's my most prescious little thing. I mean, I cannot even read that there is NO known cure for that. when I look at her or speak with her, I mean, it's just like - there is a cure. and its her smile <3
