This short interview was presumably taken during the third American tour of the Original Fleetwood Mac. I believe it is quite rare and has never been featured on YouTube before. I can't specify the exact date. But since they talk about the album "Then Play On" and the single "Oh Well" (released in November 1969) the interview had to happen at the end of 1969 or beginning of 1970.

  • @KDZigZag - amen to what you said about peter green. an under-rated guitarist who can play with the best of them. certainly better than ritchie blackmore or eric clapton. peter green really put fleetwood mac on the map.

  • The interviewer is the late, great Dave Dixon. He was one of Detroit's WABX's original Air Aces... One of the original album oriented rock and roll stations.

  • @skillzdatkillz900 - oh i know that, yes. i recall that b.b king made that comment when peter green was in fleetwood mac. i was referring to nowadays, as he hardly seems to get mentioned.

  • @aewd1980 hardly underated. BB King once said that Peter Green was the greatest blues guitarist in the world.

  • this guy is fucking hardcore.

  • @Tornfreedom I agree. What's with this interviewer anyways? He's talking to Peter Green like he's a toddler who just finished a finger painting...

  • @Tornfreedom - i agree with what happened to him in munich, a shame the people responsible weren't prosecuted. peter green doesn't seem to come across as being one of these arrogant, big-headed types, he comes across well in this interview and later ones. i didn't mean to imply that he was always on something.
