  • What is up with all these people saying learn how to play first? I don't get it. If you had that mindset you would never buy anything as there is always someone better than you. I have to think a lot comes from jealousy. Why are musicians so stinking critical. Ticks me off.

  • Dime lovers dream right here.

  • Não dá pra acreditar que o cara tem tudo essa caralhada de equipamento e não tem uma porra de uma câmera boa para fazer o vídeo. É o cúmulo.

  • until you spoke i was certin this was a cut scene from a pantera home video.

  • WHere did you get that shallow 14 (?) space rack. I'm looking for one that isn't deep so it isn't unbalanced.

  • I see somone just might be a randall fan?

  • Well, in that case, I completely agree with you.

Honestly, even I have a hard time telling the difference unless I'm the one playing. I can differentiate, in basic terms, between what I like and don't like, but if a guy's running through a SS with good tone settings, I'd probably not notice unless I was playing it.

Tubes make the guitarist happy. The average audience member certainly doesn't care or notice the difference.

  • I mean to the untrained ear.

I seriously doubt that. SS isn't terrible, and some can sound decent, however, even most tube modeling software doesn't sound like tubes.

I can tell the difference between, not just SS and tube, but tube modeling and tube, and I can also tell the difference between not just tube brands, but different tubes of the same brand.

Some people like SS and most like tube. You're fooling yourself to say there is no audible difference. Tube amps don't even sound similar to each other.

  • Other then keep super heavy tones at very low volumes.... lol

  • No that isn't true. If you stuck a Tube label on a lot of solid state amps, people would think its the greatest tone in the world. Alot of people think that in order to have good tone, it must be tube, which is definitely not true.
