after trying NA programs and AA programs over 5 times. I went to narconon vista bay 3 years ago, it worked for me. I ended up working there as well, for two years... I will admit that I did hear about scientology sometimes, but I never felt pressured to join the church of scientology. So Im all for narconon, dont know much about scientology, but I'll tell you one thing, Id rather become a scientologist, jew, muslim, christian, rastafarian, or hindu, then die with a needle in my arm.

Want to see actual PROOF that Narconon is a recruiting tool for Scientology?
Look at the issue of "Narconon News", a document produced by Narconon itself, featured in this video:

"Narconon helps get people up Ron's bridge to freedom [ie: Scientology]"
"Narconon is the bridge to the bridge!" --Narconon News, vol 6, issue 3

The video presentation is obviously one sided.. not intended to broaden understanding. And with that lacks credibility.

@mattmuller1 Something tells me you are a scientologist.
The unethical leaders of the "church" of Scientology are desperate to keep the profits flowing from their front groups like Narconon. More people than ever are leaving Scientology and so added emphasis is being put on their supposedly "secular" groups that supposedly "help people" (always at an inflated cost, of course).
If you have a drug problem, get help ASAP, but avoid Narconon at all costs!
