You're right, paying by coin isn't an option when a meter is broken, but paying by phone with your credit card is. I use it all the time when I'm in East Van 'cause all the meters there are always jammed or broken. Heck, if you have am account they even give you a one time credit so that when the friggin' thing eats your money you can still park there!
@Smoompy no I dont think you get it. It becomes illegal to park in a spot with a FAILED meter based on the rules. That is why Im so angry about it. The citiies failures should not be put upon the citizens to not be allowed to park there. Furthermore, not everyone has a credit card you cant eliminate conis from the process of paying. Im livid at the neglegence from our city in dealing with their problems instead they put the ownus on the citizens.
