CYDER TUTORIAL

This is a tutorial on a windows application called cyder. cyder is awesome it lets you download the .deb files of anything on cydia. this is cool because if something is on cydia and you download the .deb and the developer quits hosting or making the file you still have a copy. it is also a way to install packages from cydia without wifi.
to do this all you have to do is install winscp on your computer and create a directory on your iphone
/var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall var/root/ will already be made for you well Media might be to all u do is open the Media folder and create a folder called Cydia insideof the Media folder and then open up the Cydia folder and create a folder called AutoInstall inside the cydia folder now AutoInstall is the folder that you place the .debs that you want to install in.
now all you do is reboot your iphon/ipod and then you have to also respring it to. if app still dont show up respring till it does.

to log into winscp go to setting wifi blue arrow beside the wifi u are connected to and now write down the IP address
now on winscp put the number you wrote down in example = 192.168.2.4
your username is root and password is alpine

SOMONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I Click on the sync ipod to pc button but the loading bar at the bottom just flashes for half a second and goes away....

also, it wont load any sources, nothing comes up

i have installed cyder 2 for my ipod touch 2g 4.2.1.......but afer opening cyder it is showing entry point not found and also missing library i.e. check itunes installation..................­pls respond to my problem soon

@megaraitei Hey, well the reason i wanted cydia was because of appsync (so i could sync cracked apps through comp) so i just went to mates house and downloaded it, and so far its awesome. But if you want all the themes and shit, try a differant computer. or maybe try downloading it again. :) hope this helps, dont hesitate if you any more questons
