Can you write a tutorial on how should we wave the pen?

I spent my last 2 days waving my pen over the penny.. nothing happened except that sometimes I had the impression that there were two pennies..

simpy a penny with a hole on the front with a dime in the hole with a magnet on the pen, i have the trick.
