Does it matter? Why should you impose your beliefs on what a person should do in their personal lives? Fact is, there should be no discrimination for hiring ANYONE, especially teachers. No. I'm not saying we're immune to it completely. And I'm not saying all Americans are against gays, because I highly doubt all of america hates gays. I'm saying that our culture hasn't immersed into it and made it a huge issue. I just don't understand how people can't just get along. It's baffling, really. Like where you take it really matters in life? People need to gain a little shrapnel of perspective.
