Burnout 2: Point Of Impact - Burnout x WOW

Stefan Mahrla gets a burnout chain of over 1000 burnouts. The 1000th Burnout is displayed as "Burnout x WOW".

PS: Often people ask how long it took me to get this record.
Well, 1'35-1'37 is a good time for this track. I think I drove only around 1'39-1'40 laps, because I had to drive safely.

And I got around 12-13 burnouts per lap. So 1000/12 = 83,3333 thus 83*1'40 min = 2h18min

@Pseudofedrina: If you just count this run, then around 2,5 hours. But of course I had several fail runs, where I crashed at 7xx burnouts and so on^^

The other question that I have is whether or not some of the other cars have been proven to be faster than the Supercar. I know that the stats screen says this but I always used to play Time Trial with the Supercar myself as I thought that there was no noticeable difference between this and the other big-hitters yet this car had superior handling...

Am I right with this?

Concerning your question with the cars:

yeah, the Supercar really seems to be the best, 2nd best seems to be the Custom Roadster. And the other cars are only good for some crash zones, afaik.

Very, very impressive! My record for the Big Surf Shores is Burnout X 734 but I want a Burnout X WOW now also! In your profile does the game register your record as Burnout X WOW or does it count any Burnout beyond 1000? The reason I ask is because I want to make a full video with some nice quality and get it on here but I don't want to stop the car to a halt at Burnout X WOW if somebody is going to have more than me displayed on their profile!

The game registers your actual record, so "1001" instead of "WOW" in micmic's case.

Btw. I think the record on XBoxLive was around 7xx (maybe exactly 734^^), so was that you, Phil? But XBLive was shut down 2 month ago, so the times/scores can't be viewed online anymore (in case you wanted to have the best record there).

I stopped my burnout in chain at 1001 but i could do 1050+.

The "BURNOUT x WOW" without cheat is an incredible achievement & very hard to do.
