This is a C-Mount lens I was trying with my micro four thirds camera (DMC-G2). The adaptor I was using was a KIPON. I was planning to use this for videos in EXT mode as I needed a fast wide angle. This lens did the trick in that way but it falls short in other ways.

  • How come this guy (psynema) had to file down the adapter ? did you do it too?

he made the other 4-12mm video

  • @keaper Sometimes these adapters are not perfect. A small variation may cause different performance in the lens. I did not have to file mine down. Let me checkout his video.

  • @hausofhadz All C mount lenses will APPEAR to fit the adapter at first glance but if you had xray vision you'll see it's not set all the way. THat is WHY YOU CANT FOCUS to infinity. You have to file yours down.

  • @psynema The Kipon adapter is supposed to be one of the thinnest already. Maybe I have to file the lens down.
