On April 9, 1983, Bob Chandler brought the Bigfoot #2 truck to a truck & tractor pull event in the Pontiac Silverdome, for what is commonly recognized as the first public car crush, in front of a crowd of approximately 68,000 people.

@DanDonStudios Well the sport was created by Chandler so fuck off. Bob was doing it in 1975 and copy cat Anderson didn't start until 1981 and besides the first 2 Gravedigger trucks were Fords anyway so eat shit.

I was there! Also went to the last monster truck show at the silverdome. what a great place for those type of shows.
