Yup, just what zaddpac said. That said, I bought it on the merit of it's sound and ability to take pedals well. Nice aesthetics are a bonus, but good tone is the primary objective. Ya' dig?
By "NOS", do you mean the tubes are "new old stock?"
B/c in order for a amp to be "NOS" (new old stock), which I never heard of an amp being NOS, it would mean that the amp would have to be like 30/40/50yrs old and never EVER used before!!!! Like still in an unopened box! haha
Idk, maybe Fender is using "NOS" as a marketing ploy these days?? Like they did w/ the David Gilmour "NOS" custom shop guitar. haha Which I'm sure is a gr8 guitar, but it's not "NOS" in the true sense - it's brand new!

its just a marketing ploy...the amp has a tweed covering instead of the tolex, different tubes, and an upgraded speaker right out of the box

Nice playing, pedals sound great : ) I also have an NOS BJ, takes pedals exceptionally well.
