Your comments make a lot of sense. The Xeon frame is not made for the extra heft of the 5 mm shaft and a 450 head. I was worried about that. I will take a chance and go with the new Guru-z CP head. It's light and it is supposedly better than the stock CP3 head. Also, at $24.95 on special I can afford to buy 2. Should make a great first CP. This way, the weight is about the same as the Xtreme FP Alum head and bell-hiller set up and will handle the wind a bit better than my Bee. Thanks again.

I have since put an Xtreme Bell-Hillar head on my HoneyBee FP and it flies so great that it is closer to a Honey Bee CP3 than the FP. Although A just ordered a Xeon. I might just as well go the CP route. IF possible, could you tell me if the Xeon kit comes with the larger ration belt gear. Who's main gear are you using? As I am going to order the 5mm head & bearings, is there anything else I need to order from Guru-Z? Thank you very much for your prior reply.

I had ordered the only the Xeon frame ( not the kit )
so I don't know what is the default tail gear ratio that
comes with the kit. If I may suggest, I would tell you to
go to the CP route with a Trex 450 or clone. It costs less
that any GuruZ kit and the 450 spares are easier to find.
After a mild crashing my GuruZ-CP, it proved that the Xeon
frame cannot handle the increased energy of the heavier CP
build and breaks easily ...

Chris,
please see the rcgroups post I mention in my
first post, where I list every spare that is needed
for the 5mm CP head and I also mention various
other points of the build. I you can't see it,
please tell me to send you a PM with the post url.
I was using a normal HBFP main gear
and later I switched to the Microheli
MH-FP102MG Precision CNC Main Gear for HBFP
