2000 - "Binaural"

all my rivals will see what i have in store, my gun...
i've been harboring fleets in this reservoir, red sun...
and this nation's about to explode

your disciples are riddled with metaphors, well hung...
better pony up and bring both your barrels full, not one...
as we release this unspeakable toll...

(every grain of sand equals)
(all the stars and everyone)

how's our mother to damn these contributors...with mud?
how will the man who made chemicals difficult...shed blood?
how's our father supposed to be told?

  • Nice homage to Pink Floyd's Animals. I always enjoy Pearl Jam's riffs on classic rock - Beatles, Zeppelin, Budgie, Floyd. Great tune. I really have to get this CD again.

  • @BryanSMeyer It's about "Growing up gay in Littleton". Inspired by columbine.

  • @HuertaJessica wow, for some reason, five minutes ago i was listening to PJ's code CD on here and I thought of Columbine. And I wondered if PJ ever "said" something about it. And by "said", I mean musically. Thank you. First time i heard the song.

  • @gopenguinsgo1 If you ever had a dog, you would know that, that was a real dog, with a toy in his mouth, being pulled by a member of PJ, probably Eddie.

  • Its so sad when you think of what this song is about. :{ R.I.P everyone in the Columbine shooting..
